JOB SUMMARY:

Superintendent has responsibility for maintaining day-to-day operations of commercial, industrial, and mixed-use-residential construction project(s) per the Director of Commercial Project Management.  S/he will supervise, monitor and evaluate all on-site day-to-day activities to ensure project(s) are delivered according to specified schedules, and achieve customer satisfaction goals.  S/he enforces schedule adherence, and quality status by co-developing and implementing systems for all day-to-day operations related to current construction projects.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Sub-contractor/Vendor Direction & Management – on-site point of contact for all sub-contractors and vendors.  Maintains a clean and orderly site for the duration of the project.

Plans and Specifications – responsible for the adherence to Contract Drawings & Specifications as directed by Director of Commercial Project Management

Scheduling – responsible for the co-development and maintenance of, and adherence to the construction schedule.  Will be instrumental in keeping the project on or ahead of schedule by anticipating potential delays, driving sub-contractors to complete scopes ahead of schedule, and maintaining a constant line of communication with key project personnel through the duration of the project.

Safety – responsible for the on-site enforcement of Broadpoint’s safety program

Quality Assurance – responsible for on-site Quality Assurance and plan/spec-to-construction accuracy throughout the project.  Maintains continuous contact with sub-contractors during on-site performance of scopes of work to ensure a second to none end-product.

Daily Project Updates/Logs – will provide written daily progress updates per Director of Commercial Project Management
